Our Story
How RMR Was Built
Ross Mitchko Registrar didn't start in a boardroom. It started in the field.
Joe Mitchko spent more than two decades working as an auditor — conducting management system assessments across electronics recycling, ITAD, manufacturing, and environmental compliance. He understood the standards inside and out, but over time he noticed a recurring problem: the certification experience itself was broken. Clients were treated as transactions. Audit reports were delivered and forgotten. The process existed to produce a certificate, not to make a business better.
Jerome Ross came at the same world from a different angle. As a consultant helping organizations build and implement management systems, Jerome watched his clients navigate the certification process with frustration. Registrars were rigid. Communication was inconsistent. Auditors came and went with no continuity, no investment in the outcome.
Joe and Jerome's paths crossed the way most good professional relationships do — through the work itself. An auditor and a consultant, repeatedly landing in the same space, eventually asking the same question: why does this have to be this way?
After years of working with different registrars, watching the same patterns play out, they decided to stop waiting for someone else to fix it. They founded Ross Mitchko Registrar on two commitments that the industry had long treated as competing priorities: genuine value for clients, and a clear, professional framework for auditors.
At RMR, those two things aren't in tension. A well-supported auditor conducts a better audit. A better audit creates real value for the client. And a client that gains something meaningful from the process becomes a long-term partner — not just a certificate holder.
That's the company Joe and Jerome built. And it's the standard every engagement is held to.

Managing Partner
A Retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, Jerome brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in compliance, auditing, and environmental risk management to every engagement. As Managing Partner, he leads audit operations and drives the strategic direction of RMR — ensuring every client receives a thorough, fair, and genuinely useful assessment. Jerome is passionate about the idea that certification should catalyze real operational improvement, not just produce a certificate.

Joe oversees the day-to-day operations and business development at RMR, bringing deep expertise in building compliance-oriented organizations from the ground up. His focus is on creating scalable, client-centered processes that make the certification experience efficient and transparent. Joe works closely with Jerome to ensure that every client relationship reflects RMR's commitment to personal attention and professional excellence.
Jasmine Ross
Quality Manager
Jasmine serves as RMR's Quality Manager, overseeing the integrity of the certification process from client onboarding through final audit reporting. She ensures that RMR's own management system meets the rigorous standards it audits clients against — a commitment to internal accountability that sets RMR apart. Jasmine is also deeply involved in accreditation preparations and the continuous improvement of RMR's documented procedures.
Accreditation
Building on a foundation of recognized quality
ANAB Accreditation
RMR is actively pursuing accreditation through ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board) to certify management systems against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and R2v3 standards. All witness audits have been completed and our Final Office Assessment is scheduled for November 2026.
ANAB accreditation provides independent assurance that our certification processes meet the highest international standards — giving our clients confidence that their certificates carry real weight in the marketplace.

Through our training division, Peak Certification Center by RMR, we hold Recognized Training Provider (RTP) status with Exemplar Global — one of the world's leading personnel certification bodies for management systems professionals.
